5 Key Indicators that a LAME Recording Artist has gone
HOLLYWOOD!!!

Hello, my name is Don Ghotti owner and A&R of Felicitous Records, Inc and I'm a Libra....nah, Lol, real talk I was driving to the studio this morning thinking to myself how difficult it was to get record submissions for my latest project [The Adventures of Don Ghotti & Don Pitts - Official Mixtape VOL 3].

I went above and beyond to extend my hand out to hundreds of Recording Artist, Managers, Executives, A&R, etc in order to get only a handful of records. The biggest issue was that a ton of the people were very interested in being a part of the project, but simply DID NOT submit their record. The thing that puzzled me the most was the fact that this is F-R-E-E PROMOTIONS People!!!

Now these thoughts brought me to one conclusion and one conclusion one, why have most LAME Recording Artist GONE HOLLYWOOD??? I wanted to put out a short Blog to give all of my readers the 5 Key Indicators to quickly identify when this Lameness occurs! Are you guys ready? Let's go in!

5 Key Indicators that a LAME Recording Artist has gone HOLLYWOOD:

1. When a Recording Artist talks wreckless on the Youtube/Vimeo claiming how HOT their project is, speaks about their FEATURES, their Producers, their ALBUM COVER, etc.

*They never once outline any differentiating facts, history, concepts, etc*

2. When a Recording artist only does shows in the same City that they were born and raised in, for the same people that they grew up with, and receive Tremendous amounts of Love. Often, paying the same promoters money for opening spots or to have their name on the bill.

*The Shit don't mean anything until you gain Love and Respect on the road*

3. When the Recording Artist brags about getting Gwap, Money, Paper, Doe, Dinero, Cheddar, etc. When you actually see the artist out and about, they're either catching a ride, or in some beat up car.

*People who get money don't have to brag my friend*

4. Suspect Jewelry. This includes Trunk jewelry, fake Diamonds, etc.

*If you really had that much real jewelry, you'd need a Security Staff*

5. Taking Club pictures with Celebs that only do it to avoid being Rude, but then post them to your Social Networks like they're some sort of real "Don" or "Mover & Shaker".

*If you must post Celeb pix, please take them in a more private or intimate setting like your home for an example. Makes it more believable*

Final Note:
Recording Artist please understand that the Music Changes everyday, and its very important to remain as humble as possible and DO NOT brush off someone who looks to assist in helping your process regardless of level. The future of your career will eventually rely on the many partnerships that you create over years. My best advice is for you to invest in a Mirror, simply because it shows you who you really are and not who you're trying to be. This should keep you well grounded.
Also, Download The Adventures of Don Ghotti & Don Pitts - Official Mixtape VOL 3 on May 15th and see who I wasn't speaking about! Lol.
